Hello All,

My name is Will Nault and I am the Bantam Director for the 2010/2011 Season.

I would like to welcome all of you to the upcoming season. I would also like to update all on a change in this years process for the Bantam AA team.

The Bantam AA is in its second year of being affiliated to PAC (Parkland Athletic Club). As this relationship progresses between SPMHA and PAC some of the processes will become more streamlined with less duplication. This year different from last, the AA tryouts will be held only by PAC, all players wishing to play AA must attend the AA tryouts that will run Sept 7-9. I will provide a ice time schedule on the Bantam Website for Stony as well as a reminder e-mail to all.

This year it is NOT mandatory for players wanting to play AA to attend the AAA tryouts, however it is recommended and may become mandatory in the future seasons. As posted on the Bantam Website I require an e-mail confirmation of your players intent to attend the AA tryouts prior to the 28th of August.

For the players that are registered for the AAA tryouts Good luck and you do not need to send me an e-mail as you are in the system already. If you have already sent me an e-mail with intent for AA please do not resend. If you have not sent an e-mail yet please do so ASAP so we can place you in the list of intent.

For all players not attending the AAA or AA tryouts the SPMHA non-evaluation skates will be held on September 12 @ the Glen Hall Arena. There will be 3 groups which you will receive communication on at a later date for which group you are in. The Skill Evaluation skates will be held on September 16th, also 3 groups that will be communicated later. The Skill Evaluation games will start on September 19 and run through September 23 with team assignments to follow.

I do have some final house keeping to do from a registration perspective. There are 20+ players not registered or paid as of today, if you are one of the 20+ please complete your registration process ASAP as your player will not be allowed to participate if the registration process is not complete. If you received this e-mail and you are no longer planning to play or do not live within the SPMHA boundary any longer please respond to this e-mail so I can have you removed or to complete the proper release process for you player to be eligible to play else where.
