Just a reminder that online registration has opened. We have new lower fees this year!

You will need to complete a two part registration - Hockey Canada Registry as well as the SPMHA online registration.
BOTH need to be complete in order for your player to be registered this year. There is a
step by step manual on the SPMHA website under registrations that will help you complete the HCR portion. When you have completed the Hockey Canada Registry they will give you a reference number. You will need this number for the SPMHA registration. You will also need your Respect in Sport number. If you do not have this saved, you will need to retrieve it in order to complete your SPMHA registration. You can locate it at the
Hockey Canada website. If for some reason you are having difficulty, please contact their help desk (link at the bottom of the page). Next season we will be sending out a registration email that will have your concession credits (if applicable) as well as your Respect in Sport number for ease of registration.

Since the 2012/13, Hockey Alberta and SPMH will not allow minor hockey players to step onto the ice unless their Parent has registered, taken and completed the Respect in Sport course. This is mandatory and there will be no exceptions to this. It is strongly suggested to complete this course early to prevent server crashes in the month of August. There will be extremely high volumes of traffic in August as families wait until the last minute to complete this from across the province.
When you are registering for this, it is also suggested that you put both parents names down on the registration and any future (underage)
children that may want to play in the upcoming years.
